The visitors to the power stations Palü and Cavaglia have the chance, on
their guided tour, to discover how captivating electricity can be. How
water-power is transformed into electricity, with the use of turbines,
pumps and generators, is impressively explained, and can be viewed at close
quarters.
A rarity, worldwide, awaits you in the power station Palü: a Pelton turbine
and a Francis turbine drive, via a 28m long vertical axle, the same generator.
