Mountain Climbers’ School


The Pontresina unit of the Swiss Mountain Climbers’ School is Switzerland’s largest mountain climbers’ school. The variety of tours carried out by the school open the gates to a great experience in the South Grisons’ superb world of mountains for beginners and experts alike.

This is what the mountain climbers’ school has to offer:

  • easy mountain tours from Pontresina

  • rock and ice-climbing practice for beginners and advanced persons

  • high-altitude tours in the Bernina area and the Bergell valley, ranging from low to high levels of difficulty
